Winter Program Equipment Fund

We are committed to helping people of all ages and all abilities access outdoor recreation.

Usually we run our winter programs in close partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation's Universal Access Program, which supports our programs through site access, staff support, and equipment.  Due to restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Universal Access Program (UAP) is unable to provide any support at all to our programs, including loaning us equipment.  In a typical winter, we provide our programs with snowshoes, ice grippers, hiking poles, and kicksleds all owned by UAP.

If we can fundraise to purchase the equipment needed for winter programs, then we can still support seniors, veterans, and brain injury survivors in accessing the beauty of Western Massachusetts hiking trails in Winter.

Your financial support toward our equipment purchases will support our winter programs this year and beyond.  Thank you!
